Next up will be drummer Cory Healey’s Beautiful Sunshine Band, which typically tackles a mix of bop to free jazz mingled with lashings of metallic rock.
Crazy/Beautiful is not Breathless, of course, but by Touchstone standards it’s remarkably freewheeling. In Hereditary, Toni Collette plays an artist whose mother has just died. She soon finds herself spiraling down a black hole of nightmares and grand evils, but what makes Collette’s work here so great is the way she rounds out shocking acts with subtler dramatic nuances.
