Hexing Doesn Always Mean HarmingThe word ‘hex’ often has negative connotations. The word dates back to the early 1800’s and simply meant “doing Witchcraft on someone.” It didn’t make any distinctions between good or bad magic. As Witchcraft was largely associated with malevolent magic at the time, the word took on negative connotations.

Many kitchen gardeners I meet say their plots or plantings provide the main ingredients for dinner or, even in winter, a high note from citrus, bay leaves, rosemary or thyme.In 2016, the Sydney Morning Herald reported market researcher Euromonitor International showing that Australia’s packaged vegan food market was worth $136 million, led by dairy type products.

As is the case with the existing data, some stats are more useful than others in telling us how a team or an individual player is performing. It’s not yet clear exactly all the ways in which this new information will be used. But here are five statistics I’d love to see the league produce.
